This was an assignment to create a magazine article in the style of an artist. Claes Oldenburg, while later known for his gigantic sculptures like the safety-pin, started off making large-scale canvas sculptures. This article talks about his early work. I explored organic text-box shapes in place of coloumns to give this article a more squishy look, while including a newer peice that the casual browser of the magazine may be more familiar with.
